1- An MMS enabled handset.

2- An MMS service from Etisalat

3- An MMS setup on your handset.

MMS helps you keep in touch with your friends, work colleagues and up-to-date with the market:

• Personalise your texts to your friends.
• Available in english and arabic.
• Take a great picture with your phone’s built-in camera and send it to your family.
• Listen to the latest sports highlights and music
• Watch music videos.
• Share graphs and plans with your colleagues while out of the office.
• Watch the latest financial reports as soon as they are announced.
• Send visitors MMS maps to help them find the way to your office.

Sending MMS messages: Depending on your handset’s capabilities, you can add text, sound and video to the selected picture. You can send a message up to ten mobile numbers in the UAE at once, or to any email address.

Receiving MMS messages:You will be notified when you receive an MMS. Just click on the message received icon to view your message. There is no charge for receiving messages.

Send/Receive while abroad:If you are Etisalat customer, you can send and receive MMS to/from other Etisalat customer while abroad.

Forwarding a MMS message:If you don’t want to receive MMS on your mobile while roaming, you can forward your MMS to another mobile number or to an email.

Subscribing to MMS service absolutely Free of charge. You will be charged only for sending an MMS.

GPRS roaming charges will be applied when you send/receive MMS message while roaming. For postpaid users, it will be distant operator GPRS roaming charge plus 15% Etisalat markup and for prepaid users, it will be normal GPRS band of charge.

Sending MMS To Any Destination In The World

The new and enhanced MMS solution enable you to send MMS to any destination number in the world, even for the operators who do not have a direct agreement with Etisalat. However, if the destination number's operator does not have an agreement with Etisalat, the MMS will be sent as SMS notification, providing a link and password to view and download the MMS through the website. You can also reply back via internet from the same website.

If you are a new postpaid or prepaid customer, you will receive the MMS settings via SMS as soon as you insert the SIM card into the handset. These settings will allow you to avail the service.

If you are an existing postpaid or prepaid mobile customer, you can avail the MMS service through the following ways:

1- Via SMS: T ype ‘r mms’ in the text message field and send it to 1010. An SMS message confirming your MMS registration will be sent to you

2- Via IVR: Dial 125 from your mobile handset and follow the instructions OR after dialing 125 you can press 2721 at once in order to avoid all the instructions and directly subscribe to the service.

3- Via *122#: Dial *122*2*2*2# from your mobile handset and follow the instructions.  

Note: An SMS message confirming your registration will be sent to you. Once the service is activated, you will receive an SMS with the settings. Save these settings in order to use the MMS service.
